Plants for oil separation from water, gas and solids using centrifugation or high pressure reservoir four-phase separators.
When producing oil product extracted from a well may contain water, gas or various solids. Consequently, separation of these components is required at the next stage. Until recently separation was accomplished by using sedimentation tanks. This is not a cost effective and environmentally friendly technology since offshore application may involve product leaks into an open sea. We think that application of special centrifuge for separation of oil from other products is the solution of this problem. Two-phase medium separation under the influence of centrifugal forces in the proposed centrifuge will be up to 3000 times as fast as the one carried out under gravity forces in tanks. Moreover, the unit size is ten times as small as the one of sedimentation tanks. Oil separated by means of the centrifuge is further stored and transported and purified water may be discharged to the sea or may be injected into the well.
Four-phase high pressure separators are also applied to separate oil extracted from the well. They are used to separate solid phase from liquid one with further gas-liquid separation.
The flow rate of the offered units for formation water separation can make 50 up to 5000 m3 per 24 hours depending on number and production of the well on site. The residual water content is min. 95% (0,5-3% as a rule).
Our delivery program includes the units for operation at low ambient temperatures (up to -50°C).
