Block-type centrifugal pumping plant for reservoir pressure maintenance system

The pumping station consists of 3 booster and 3 high pressure pumps, complete with electric motors with frequency converters, monitoring and control systems, necessary electrical equipment and valves. It is designed as a system of three container units. The completely installed container system with open side walls shall represent a large pump house. The control room, separated from the pump house by inside walls, is formed by 1 and 2 units assembly. The control room has a separate access.

a) Outer container unit 1 is meant for
the accommodation of 1 high pressure and 1 booster pumps and the partial accommodation of the electric equipment, frequency converters, power supply and pump control.
General description
The unit is designed as a standard container, modified and tested in compliance with the plant parameters according to DIN/ISO 1496 Part 1. Weight and classification is in accordance with DIN/ISO 668 Part 1 Type CCC. Container dimensions are approx. 12,0 x 3,0 x 3,0 m. (L x W x H outside dimensions), there is also an additional cover for ventilation within the container (height approx. 1 m). The container is for outdoor installation on the concrete foundation provided by the Customer.
Materials and construction:
Container exterior walls are made from profiled sheeting. The interior walls are made from smooth galvanized sheet metal hardened on the welded frame of steel section covered with industrial lacquer. The container flooring underlay is covered with plastic. The container bed is made from steel section with welded channel partitions with intervals according to the structural complexity. There is mineral wool between the exterior and interior walls (according to Euro-Klasse A1, DIN EN 13501-1).
Auxiliary equipment:
The door in the side wall as the entrance into the control room.

b) Intermediate container unit 2 is meant for
the accommodation of 1 high pressure and 1 booster pumps and the partial accommodation of the electrical equipment, frequency converters, power supply and pump control.
General description, materials and construction:
Similar to the container unit 1.

The both longitudinal side walls are open, steel section supports are provided for steady and distributed load.

c) Periphery container unit 3 is meant for
the accommodation of 1 high pressure pump and 1 booster pump as well as the accommodation of the distribution wire system and flow measurement.
General description, materials and construction:
Similar to the container unit 1.
Auxiliary equipment:
Four inlets for DN 125 pipe, and one inlet for DN 250 pipe.
Container features:
The longitudinal side wall is open, steel section supports are provided for steady and distributed load.

Notes:
  1. There is a manhole with a removable cover in each container top. It allows to remove the pump and the motor by means of a lifting device out of the modular container.
  2. The container is designed in the form of the ‘hood’, i.e. with no floor.
  3. There is a standard container two-winged door installed in each unit in the full container width. The door as well as the whole container is isolated with mineral wool.
  4. There is an axial fan regulated through a thermostat installed in each unit equipped with weatherproof ventilation inlets and outlets of necessary quantity.
  5. The scope of supply includes clamp bolts for connection of the units 1, 2, 3.
  6. The scope of supply includes anchor bolts (24 pcs) for mounting the units 1, 2, 3 on the Customer’s foundation.
  7. All the units are prepared for connection with each other.
