Rotary vane type pump for heavy oil products of high viscosity

Rotary vane type pump

The offered vane type pump is specially designed for asphalt/tar, but can be applied for other media. It is of modular construction with high-power rotating parts. There are no separating gears, but only two single mechanical seals even for high-temperature applications (over 260 °Ñ). Besides it is a short and a compact pump, therefore it is easy to keep it hot.


Rotary vane type pump

The functioning principle of the pump is that the eccentricity between the shaft and the rotor forms chambers between the rotor and the vanes the size of which changes as the pump rotates. The liquid which flows into the pump is transacted to the rotor ends and backwards through the delivery orifice.

The offered positive displacement vane-type pump has such mechanical features which ensure its long life. Low speed provides torque without cavitation effect so that pumped medium suffers no influence resulting in loss of properties. If any parts will have still to be replaced, the simple and reliable construction allows its users to perform the replacement easily on their own.
